Important: pTrader is primarily a technology platform for tenants. In most cases, customer or trader information is provided to us by our tenants so we can operate the platform on their behalf. We do not independently collect tenant customer information for unrelated purposes.
1. Who provides the information
Most personal information processed inside pTrader comes from the prop firms, partners, or businesses that use pTrader as tenants. Those tenants control their relationship with their own customers, traders, users, or account holders. pTrader processes that information to provide operational technology services to the tenant.
In limited cases, information may be provided directly to pTrader, for example when someone opens a public demo account on ptrader.io, submits a contact form, requests access, or communicates with support.
2. Information we may process
Depending on the context, information may include name, email address, phone number, company or role, demo account preferences, account identifiers, trading simulation activity, platform activity logs, support messages, device and browser information, IP address, timestamps, and security events.
For tenant-provided accounts, the exact information available to pTrader depends on what the tenant provides or configures within the platform.
3. How we use information
We use information only for operational, security, support, and platform-management purposes, including:
- Creating, maintaining, and displaying platform accounts, demo accounts, dashboards, and terminal access.
- Operating account metrics, trading simulation records, risk controls, status checks, alerts, and tenant administration tools.
- Sending access instructions, verification messages, service notices, and support responses.
- Troubleshooting errors, monitoring system health, preventing abuse, and protecting platform integrity.
- Responding to direct contact requests from the website.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use tenant customer data for unrelated advertising or unrelated marketing.
4. Direct demo and contact information
If you open a demo account directly on ptrader.io or contact us through the website, we use the information you provide to create and operate that demo, send access instructions, respond to your request, provide support, and maintain security and platform records.
We do not use direct demo information for unrelated purposes. Any optional communications are limited to service, onboarding, support, or product-related follow-up connected to pTrader.
5. Tenant responsibilities
When your information is provided by a tenant, that tenant is generally responsible for its own privacy notices, user consents, account rules, customer communications, and legal basis for providing data to pTrader. Questions about a tenant account, evaluation program, payout, or tenant-specific data should usually be directed to that tenant first.
6. Service providers
We may use trusted service providers for hosting, databases, email delivery, analytics, captcha verification, infrastructure monitoring, security, and support operations. These providers may process information only as needed to help us operate pTrader.
7. Cookies and technical data
We may use cookies, sessions, local storage, logs, and similar technologies to keep the website and app working, secure accounts, remember preferences, monitor performance, and protect forms from abuse.
8. Data sharing
We may share information with the tenant connected to the relevant account, with service providers that help us operate the platform, when required by law, to protect users and platform security, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition.
9. Data retention
We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for operational, support, security, legal, accounting, or platform-record purposes. Tenant-provided data may also be retained or deleted according to the tenant's instructions and applicable service terms.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No online platform is completely secure, but we work to reduce risk, monitor issues, and protect platform integrity.
11. Your choices and requests
You may request access, correction, or deletion of information provided directly to pTrader. If your account was created or managed by a tenant, we may direct you to that tenant or coordinate with them depending on the request and our role.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date on this page.
